Anson Dorrance
CHAIRMAN
Anson has won 22 national NCAA championships as Coach of North Carolina Women's Soccer and 1 FIFA World Cup as head coach of USA. He's recognized as being one of the most influential figures in the history of global women's soccer and is the most successful coach in NCAA sports history.
No other individual has made more impact on the development of the women's game in the USA and globally.
According to Dean Smith, the legendary UNC Basketball Coach who mentored Michael Jordan, “This is a women’s soccer school. We’re just trying to keep up with them".
Under Anson UNC’s women’s soccer program was rated the sixth most successful sports dynasty of the 20th century, trailing only the Boston Celtics, New York Yankee and UCLA men’s basketball teams, the Chicago Bulls and the Montreal Canadiens.

Carine Ireland
CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER
Carine is one of the most respected and female leaders in women's soccer and one of the foremost technical trainers in youth soccer, endorsed by some of the world's leading figures in the game. After graduating with a BA in Human Biology from Stanford University where she played briefly, Carine played at Liverpool FC before obtaining an MBA from UCLA Anderson School of Management.
Carine was Founder, Chief Architect and CEO of Pass2Me the first soccer social networking platform which included a USA college recruiting and player assessment service. Carine also co-founded global soccer network Soccerbook.com. She has created several renowned soccer organizations: Co-founder and DOC and GM of leading youth soccer club PSV Union FC; Co-Founder Soccerbook Consulting LLC; Co-founder Dynamic Soccer; General Manager of OC Eclipse Academy. She has to date assisted in training and identifying over 30 national team and professional players. She has arranged and managed numerous nationwide and global youth, college and professional team tours and provided college recruiting and placement guidance and mentoring for over 200 college bound players.

Gary Ireland
DIRECTOR - SOCCER
After a successful playing career, Gary has been at the forefront of the soccer industry for more than 20 years as thought leader and highly respected demonstrator and clinician in global player development.
Co-founder of global soccer network Soccerbook.com; obtained a Football Industries MBA from University of Liverpool while coaching at Liverpool FC Academy; appointed lead demonstrator by Hubert Vogelsinger; personal coaching assistant to world renowned coaching icon Wiel Coerver.
Founder/investor of Pass2me, one of soccer's first social platforms; Co-founder of global soccer network Soccerbook.com; Co-founder and DOC & Director of youth soccer club PSV Union FC; Co-founder Dynamic Soccer & Eclipse Academy.
Gary was recognized in Silicon Valley by Australian global business network 'Advance' as being one of the current and emerging leaders for his contribution to the commercialization of Australian innovation dedicated to assisting Australian innovators, entrepreneurs and start-ups to commercialize and globalize.

Chris Mumford
DIRECTOR - FINANCE
Chris teaches innovation, design thinking and sports entrepreneurship at UNC - Chapel Hill. During the last 25+ years, Mumford started businesses in education, sport, technology, consumer products and healthcare.
Mumford works with select college and pro teams in performance innovation on both sporting and commercial sides in the US and Europe. He has done much research having pro team anchor large real estate projects with a wellness and entertainment theme. Mumford is developing a curriculum, book and mobile app to turn best practices into enduring daily practices.
He is the author of Sports Entrepreneurship - Beyond the Big Leagues (Columbia Business School Press) published in Fall 2023. Mumford has written books on design thinking, entrepreneurship, small business management and The Soccer Parenting Handbook. He is the publisher of several soccer analytics guides. Mumford co-founded the Accelerator School - a soccer-focused micro-school.
Mumford founded Joe Startup, an entrepreneurial education platform. He is also the cofounder of Launch Chapel Hill, a business accelerator, and 1789 Venture Lab, a co working space. Mumford has faculty appointments in the Shuford Program (Economics), Kenan-Flagler Business School and School of Education. He studied philosophy and economics while playing goalkeeper under Coach Dorrance at UNC.

Joelle Permutt
DIRECTOR - OPERATIONS
Joelle started her career working in Fashion Design in Manhattan and Hong Kong. She studied Mandarin in Taipei, Taiwan and Spanish in Cuenca, Ecuador.
In 1996, she managed human resources for Wella Cosmetics in Beijing, China. During 1998-2003, she grew BabyCare Ltd, an early childhood and maternal education business, from 5 employees to several thousand employees in 10 cities as Human Resources Manager. Her experience focused on developing high growth teams and scaling project management capacity.
In 2007, Joelle became a leader for La Leche, a non-profit supporting maternal and child health. She now accredits new leaders for La Leche.
During the last decade, she took on the challenging role of being a Soccer Mom of a son, currently an UNC Charlotte varsity player, and a high school daughter. She is a yoga instructor with a specialty in yoga for athletes.
